art/n23 is an agency for Philippine artists and designers. It is a partnership between Sandra Palomar in Asia and Cristina Herfort in Europe. We work by appointment from Dumaguete City, Philippines, and Brussels, Belgium.

Sandra was formerly Director of the Metropolitan Museum Manila. Currently she teaches Arts Management at Foundation University in Dumaguete and is a researcher for De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, Manila. Cristina is a graduate of Sciences-Po Paris and the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She currently lives in Brussels and collects Filipiniana as well as Philippine tribal art.

art/n23 draws from the Tropic of Cancer, the 23rd parallel North of the equatorial latitude. This designates the upper limits of the tropical zone on the globe, the problematics and beauty of which are exposed by artists in these geographical areas.
While having a penchant for the tropics, our artists are chosen for their relevance to the dialogue in environmental, societal and historical contexts.

We promote young and mid-career artists through exhibition, technical assistance, studio and commercial management. We contribute to an ecosystem of creatives immersed in cross-cultural and interdisciplinary inquiry.
